Day 12 and 13

Day 12 - The community lot you visit the most

This one I cannot answer. I have too many games in too many towns and too many different Sims. Literally, it depends on the town and the Sims involved.

Day 13 - Favorite piece of custom content/mod or the reason why you don’t have any

As everyone knows, I don't do CC. I love Twallan's MasterController to bits. I can't imagine playing without it.

  1. The lot I visit the most used to be central park - the one in Sunset Valley - because there are almost always people there to meet, and a way to meet several needs in one place.

Nowadays it's *looks around self-consciously* my own Corner Pub. *cough* Modesty is overrated. With the recent (to me) changes to lot types, it stopped working as intended, but now that I've got it working it's once again swarming with sims at all hours of the day and night. When my active sims are stuck doing something boring like working or sleeping, I'll park the camera in front of the pub and watch.

I do use cc, albeit sparingly and only from a source I have a good feeling about. I think most of the stuff on the exchange and in the store is crap, so I have to go elsewhere for my hair and clothing fix. And like Pib, I can't live without Twallan's mods. I guess that would be my favorite cc: any of Twallan's mods. Want something more interesting? Then I'll pick Avi's hair, or any good looking hair.

  2. Twallan's mods are the best. I do my best to snuff out any random CC that gets into my games. But I gotta have my Twallan mods.

  3. Sue, if you look closely at the pub owned by Stephen Grant, it could look familiar. In that game now, their fav place is the Corner Pub. Tweaked very very slightly.

But as I say, the lot visited most does vary on which game, which town and which Sim. Jerod the Shrimp living in Twinbrook nearly had a second home in Red Rendezvous. :)

Fairly universal agreement that we must have Twallan mods.

  4. I figured it'd be hard for you to peg a favorite lot--it was hard enough for me, and I only have one save!

Oooh, so that pub is by Sue, eh? ^^ That's cool! I have to admit, I like how you brought in them buying a bar--that was a neat idea.

Twallan's mods are indeed the shizzlenizzle. Pretty sure I couldn't live without them, at this point! ^^ Or any of us, for that matter! LOL

  5. Yes, Stephen's pub is one of Sue's uploads and it is quite nice. I did replace one of the bars with a professional bar so we'd get a mixologist on duty.

It was fun buying it, I'm not used to being able to buy every community lot. It should generate a decent income for Stephen and Abbey.

  6. That's a great idea, Pib. Is the professional bar and mixologist part of Nightlife? Maybe I'll have to get it. I've been gone so long there's a ton of stuff in the game that's new to me.

  7. Yes, there are two new bars available from Late Night, The professional dive bar and the professional....forget but it's the most expensive.

Learning mixology is cute, they try to toss and juggle the bottles (aka Cocktail) and fail frequently. Stephen had made it to about level 5, he could mix party and skill drinks pretty well and was working on romance ones.

You also get new instruments; a portable piano, drumset and bass.

But the city is a pain in the bum to live in, good for young adults and parties, not so good for families.
