Got as far as the guy in the Indiana Jones hat and went to mental drool mode over a proper Indiana Jones Sim (sorry Muleskinner, we do this a lot don't we?)
I love spoilers. I think I'll put this EP on my christmas wish list. Gonna check and make sure my computer can handle it first. LOL at the falling asleep.
Oooh, nice pics. Really nice pics. I've only been to France so far. I've found picture taking a bit of a challenge as those tombs are very very tight in some places.
I'm stuck on a certain puzzle in France and it's driving me bonkers. I ended up creating a new character to take through the adventures. I was playing my Lesson game and going through France and I got the dreaded Error 16 message. *laughs*
Finally went back and viewed the rest of the pics. You've done great work (as always) and Rachel should prove to be a lot of fun.
Sam just got back from his first holiday and I took a grand total of ...one picture of him in his new outfit. I didn't even remember to have him use his camera until he got home.
I was just having too much fun doing the first explore to even think about pics. Does anyone think I should send him back and take pics next time?
The photography skill should be fun. Back in his neighborhood, I had Sam take a few pictures. And the very first picture he took had a gnome pop into the frame. The next two feature a finger imposed over the main pic.
The pictures Sam takes at the moment are hilarious. The very first one was an excellent picture of the Mysterious gnome (he was trying to take a picture of Mick Lessen). Since then all the pictures are of a finger or blurry and completely unrecognisable.
I'm hoping that like other skills, once he gets that first skill point, it will pop up in the skill list. He's found at least 4 sets of pictures that he can take and that's just around the normal neighborhood.
Awesome. I'm just drooling over the Sammie and Rachel combination. I wasn't going to post any other Rachel adventures, but the more I play, the more I want to. I know you will with Sam. I may have to tweak Sam the way you're doing with Rachel, because now I almost can't stand not to. I want to see their baby NOW. I fully expect him to come out wearing an Indiana Jones hat. And by the way, it's totally unfair that only men get that hat!

ReplyDeleteI posted a post I found with a possible fix in the sims3 update goodie, which is better than the simguru bigguy idea for old previous saved games.
Check it out and see if you think it is plausible? I am so nervous to even load my game atm.. lol

Heh. My daughter has been having a blast with the photography skill as well. I'd love to see Indiana Sam in action!

PiB, I forgot to ask. Is it the new Rachel?
ReplyDeleteI have Rachel v1 but I may use a cheat to change her traits in this game. And change my Sim bin Rachel to match the proper traits.
