New Sims
I played a bit around in CAS and created a new sim. I'm pretty happy with her look.
I thought if anyone else had new sims we could post them here.

ReplyDeleteI'll upload her tomorrow, Dee. I'm a bit whipped and need to turn in soon. I couldn't decide between over-emotional, clumsy or neurotic so I picked randomly. I love all three traits.

ReplyDeleteI'm tempted to post the members of the current Grant clan as new Sims. Laura is rather special for a born in game. But I haven't done that yet and I'm still going to your studios if my town feels a bit bare. :)
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute. Very fresh-faced and looks like she'd be fun to know. I've been itching to make a new sim or two, so when I do I'll post them here. Sometimes the muse just doesn't come when you want her, though. I can't just make a good sim whenever I feel like it, for some reason.

I had to give your Macy a different formal dress because my game doesn't have the one she was wearing when I downloaded her.

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of starting a second game with new sims. Macy and any new sims we all create.
I'll probably be lucky to get 10. I agree about the downloads and not having custom content.
ReplyDeleteSo many people download the ones with custom content. Many of those people think they are going to get those things they see on those sims too.
I made him my avatar.
I'm going to put Benjamin and Macy into the game I'm playing now. I'm going to put them in a house together that has a garden so Macy can garden.
We'll see if they like each other.
Thank you Chrysame, you didn't have to do that. But since you did I will get her from CAS again. I haven't put either one of them into the town yet. I haven't even been into the town yet. I've been playing with creating Benjamin. I do already have her in the sim bin though. I'll get the new one that will have the correct dress. I also noticed her gym wear is different. Those must be the clothes that came with the EP. I'll get as close as I can.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I used a Marta screenie for my new avatar on the Sims 3 forum. The description says it was uploaded for avatar use. That version of Marta has 51 downloads in the space of a day. No recs but 51 downloads just because I used a screenie instead of the default Sim 3 upload pic.
ReplyDeleteI know. Isn't that silly? When I uploaded my bag-on-the-head avatar pic, I posted in the title AND the description, in all caps I think, that the sim did not look like the picture. Still it's had 97 downloads. It amazes me how some people can tie their own shoes. Come to think of it, they don't. They use velcro.

ReplyDeleteThat's why I want to try posting Thomas again with a screenshot not just the default pic. I think he deserves more than 11 downloads in his lifetime.
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing is that this version of Marta has the most downloads of any of my individual Sims by far. She's up to 59 now. The closest I have to that is Erin McCoy at 44. No recs, though. *laughs*

ReplyDeletePeople just don't take the time to recommend them. I think most of them don't get any farther that the first picture. That's their first impression and they go with it. I wonder if they ever notice that the same sim was already there before.

ReplyDeleteIn the months he's been on the exchange, the first Thomas has 11 downloads.
In less than one day, the new Thomas has 31. Granted this one has the beard but I had briefly put up a bearded Thomas before and he was fairing no better than the first. So the custom thumbnail does make a difference.
BTW - Sue, so far 38 insane people have downloaded the Indiana Sam family - which has our triplet babies. I'm impressed, that family is serious work until the triplets get to child.
