I will be sure to do that. I downloaded New Mexico by water_cat and have been having a great time with it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a desert town. The way things are placed it is easy to see what is going on and easy to follow your sims.
I added the Glass Pavillion of Modern Art and the Community Greenhouse, both by Shalua. I added the Criminal Warehouse and my Plumpuddle Park. I added the Riverview Gym but changed it so much that even I wouldn't know it was the same place. It's now one story and looks like it actually belongs in a desert.
I went to all the community lots and made changes to suit me.
I threw in houses and sims just to test it and it works great. Not too big, not too small. The sims are easy to find because they can't scatter. I did leave an empty lot for the wanderers and some empty houses for them to move to.
I won't continue with that game but am going to build some houses to put into the town. I'll probably build two or three houses and include some of EA's houses. Then I'll just keep putting those into the town to fill it. I can always change the outsides to make them all look different.
Can you tell, I'm excited again?
so if I need to place a lot say 50 x 32 only in sims 3 not 50x50 can I do that and how? is there a cheat like remove floor cut out that helps? I just can not figure out some cheats yet, can I maybe get an example. I am xokellieox thanks
ReplyDeleteYou can use the cheat "Moveobjects on" which allows you to even put more than one community object on a lot.
ReplyDeleteto bring up the cheats box, press Alt + ctrl + c
