Okay. More musical intruments (especially what looks like a portable keyboard piano, YAY), better dance moves, hot tubs, sky scrapers, and BOOZE. I hope it has more interesting effects than nectar!
I am so excited. However, I'm glad that it's not coming out 'til Autumn, there's so much more I need to get out of Ambitions first. :)

OMG, did you see the bodies on the male and female in one of those pics? The dance moves were different in the video. I just can't help it. I'm so excited. I'm also surprised at what I see there. Pleasantly surprised.
The dance moves are wicked... So far, it looks awesome. I mean, heck, even if what's in the video is all you get... I'll take that!
Though, I dunno if this is what you're referencing Dee, but... To me... The bodies look more defined than usual. Like... The chicks boobs look bigger, and he looks more ripped. Could this possibly mean more/better sliders? :-O
I kinda doubt it, but if that's the case... Again, I shall squeal with joy. I already did once over this release -- though to be honest, I liked the name 'After Dark' better than 'Late Night'. Oh well. ;)
They could call this EP "Poo Patties" if it means we're getting hot tubs, real clubs and new careers. And hanging disco balls and...and...I'm too excited. I blame Dee.
I'm with you PiB. I'm still only on the second profession in Ambitions. The game just gets better and better. I am so glad it isn't being released until fall. I would be in a mess trying to learn all the Ambitions stuff and the Late Night stuff.
Kaleeko, I really believe they must have added some sliders or somthing. It's the official trailer and screenshots and I am loving it. That guy has a six pack. Well, I can't tell if it's a six pack or not but... it's a pack. :D

And Dee, the instrument is a Bass. :) Which makes me SO !$&%%@ happy. I'm a bit of a musician myself, so the variety of instruments they're adding just... Wow. I'm stoked.
I really get how you're feeling though, Dee. I haven't stopped grinning since I watched the vid, and that's saying a lot, for how moody I've been feeling today.
If there is a new town, I am going to be *extremely* torn. I really love Twinbrook, but... *whimpers* I just need to tell myself, a few more months to soak everything up before this comes out!
By the time that EP is released we will all be ready for another new town. They are going to be so slammed with pre-orders on this one that they won't know what to do. I think that girl has more...is more endowed, too.

And Chyrsame, yeeaaaahh... I swear, if they Twilight-ized these vampires in any way, I will implode. I can already see the Fan-Fiction stories that are going to start cropping up... *shiver* I'm usually not big on the "Creatures" myself, but the Vampires from Sims2 cracked me up.
Even if they haven't said it, I'm 100% positive you'll be able to Woohoo in the Hot Tub. You could in both 1 & 2, and you can in Sarcophagi of all things, it'd just be weird if that's not the case. It would be nice if there was more than just that, though. ;)
I used to make my sons save and pay at least half on most things they got. They seemed to take better care of things when they put some of their own money into it. Like Kaleeko said, they could woohoo in the hot tubs in 1 and 2. We'll just have to wait and see about 3.

All the release dates I've seen so far have been around the end of October, but I bet that's liable to change. I told my husband, and he groaned and said, "Are you freaking serious?" Hehe.
Me too chrysame, about Pib and watching the video again. I watched it at youtube and I think I stopped at every frame. 0:07 there is a pedestrian crosswalk thingy. 0:32 I think I see wall speakers. 0:36 I see a regular piano. I think I also saw wall graffiti. I paused while that ripped man had his back turned and boy is he ripped.
They are watching the video frame by frame...obsessed already. :)
I can predict with 95% certainty that they will not have twilight style vampires. Can you say lawsuit? I knew you could and it would be a big one. It will be old-school creatures of the night vampires - not sparkle in sunlight.
I want hot tubs - I WANT slow dance! But I'll take whatever it dishes when it finally arrives.

Oh dear me, Marty! You need to save up and buy Ambitions when you can. It's highly worth it. But, expansions do go on sale after a while. That's why I'm waiting to get HELS, but... I've never been that into stuff packs, anyways.
It definitely looks like they're bringing back the best of some of the 1&2 expansions, but hopefully there's enough new stuff to keep it interesting. EA hasn't really failed yet with these EPs, though, so... I'm excited. :D

ReplyDeleteI don't usually buy stuff packs and only buy the EP's if I'm very interested in them.
They made the bouncers really look like bouncers.
The mixologist reminded of the movie with Tom Cruz. I think it was Tequila Sunrise but am not sure.
