  1. This looks interesting. I wonder how it will be following a sim around on the job? I'll be keeping an eye out for more details.

The new jobs are ones I definitely want to try with our little Sims.

  2. I like the sound of this one. I bet you couldn't tell by the way I posted. :) I'll be keeping track of what this one is going to be about too.

  3. Following Sims to and from work - doesn't do anything for me. I really don't mind rabbit-holes for work because it's hard to see how that is going to be interesting for most jobs. I know it's been a requested feature for ages but not on my list.

So I'll be watching to see how people like the other various aspects of it. New jobs could be good though.

  4. I can't see them opeing the rabbit holes. I may be wrong but I'm thinking more along the lines of a house catching fire and following your sim to the house to put out the fire.
Maybe that thing that looks like an ice sculpture is a way to work at home.
I don't want them to open the rabbit holes. I would like for my sim to be able to work at home though.

I remember in sims 1 where they could make money working at home and in sims 2 FreeTime, they could make money from sewing and stuff. I loved that.

  5. I'm not sure I want to spend all day at work with them. I've got other sims in the family to play with, too! I like the new jobs and I wonder what type of skills will come with them.

  6. I wouldn't want to spend all day at work with them either.

I like the rabbit holes too.
When I read forum post about people wanting to go to work and school with their sims, I always think "be careful what you wish for".

I still want my sim to be able to work at home though.

  7. Sculpting could be very cool. That would be perfect for little Miss Ripley.

  9. The following was copied and pasted here from simprograms. It's part of an interview.

We are going to be able to add lots. yeah baby.

GS: Tell us about some of the other additions that the expansion will add. What new items, building options, and gameplay features will also be added?

GR: One of the features we’re most proud of is adding the ability for players to add, remove, and modify lots in edit town. Create-a-World is still the most powerful tool available for players who want to create and modify worlds, but for players who just want some of the options, this is a great alternative. Players can also add neighborhood objects like signs, rocks, and other large structures.

The tattoo system is an incredibly powerful new creative tool for our players. Players can apply multiple tattoos in up to five layers, scale them, change the colors, and even modify opacity. Players can also upload and share these tattoos on the exchange, giving our community yet another creative outlet.

Build mode will see the addition of the ability to modify the pitch of individual roof sections, which is incredibly useful for aspiring architects. We’re also adding a multistory column tool for added home variety.

Finally, we always try to add some fun new objects for sims to play with while not working or studying. Sims will love motorcycles, the trampoline, and more.

  10. I'm very pleased with the ability to add, remove and modify lots. I watched the video and noticed a lot of new hairstyles. The detective job looks fun!

  11. I'm thrilled about the lots. Now I'll be able to have my sims living close together even when I have a lot of them.
I read the rest of the interview and there is more that sounds very good.
