Twallan's Relativity and a new page for Sam

Twallan's Relativity mod has changed a lot in the most recent incarnation. You have far more options like having skilling rates set relative to age length. So your Sims might be able to skill up even if you do a speed legacy. :) I'm a bit overwhelmed by the changes, it was so ultra simple before.

And I wrote a new background page for Hi Mum, It's Sammy. It's just a page about his various spouses and their creators. At which point, I realised how much I adore Tomasi women. Cause they rule Sam's life - mostly. LOL

  1. Awesome! I don't use the Relativity Mod, but I'm sure the constant skilling speed could be very inconvenient for those playing on either short or epic lifespans.

Wow, Sammy gets around! Well, Sammy's clones, but still. :P

  2. Yeah, learning at an appropriate speed for your lifespan should be awesome. Mind you, I still play at normal so I don't need it terribly.

Yes, we are up to a dozen proper Sam clones. Poor dude, he must be so confused after all that. And there are a couple of strays that I don't count as clones. :)

  3. I never quite understood how that mod worked. I tried it once but I didn't "get" it. I don't use Dresser anymore (I miss it terribly) because I couldn't upload sims to the exchange with it in my game.

Sam and his loves. :D Those Tomasi women might have won his attention for a while but we all know his true sim love is Rachel. They were so sweet together.

  4. It makes the Sim day go slower or faster. I set mine at 17 - time goes by at 1/2 the speed which allows my Sims to get things done. On older slower saves (Hi Penny!) this is vital.

I think you are right. Sam's soul mate was and always will be Rachel. Which is why she rarely shows up in Sam stories, she could steal his heart so easily if she tried.

  5. Every sim has at least one other sim that steals their heart. It's pretty cool when you find their "one."

For Gwen that was definitely Jack Grant.

  6. True confession time - I absolutely adored the Mayweathers - in part because of their romantic history.

    Marnie married Indy.
Ollie took a wrong turn with Vi but eventually found Jack Harkness
Gwen failed to make Mick into a family man but then fell big time for Jack Grant.

My Sims paired so well with Mayweathers and I loved it.

  7. They really did pair well. :D My favorite was Gwen and Jack. She tried with Mick and then the single mom fell for the single dad. He was Mr. Romantic without the hopeless romantic trait. I need to revisit that coupling.

I've been playing my Marta game a lot lately. Like you with Sam, she's my go to sim.

  8. Is Relativity worth getting? I'm up to seven or eight Twallan mods now, and I'm getting worried about bogging things down too much. But I'd just about kill to be able to have my kids actually DO something during their childhood besides pee, shower and do homework.

I can't even imagine how Generations works. When in the world do your kids have time to do any of those new things they can do?

  9. Yes Sue, relativity can stretch time to it possible for your kids to do some stuff. I use 17 as my relative, makes time 1/2 speed.

I don't know how much my kids will get to enjoy Generations stuff but at least there are more options. Like after school activities. More things to play with. The chemistry bench. :)
