Last night, I successfully downloaded and installed Travis Carson from Dee. I failed to get Oliver Mayweather.
So what I'd like to try is to download a couple of Sims that
a) have no deliberate CC
b) have no store content
c) do have hair and clothing using standard base/WA/HEL items and recolours.
Anybody want to provide Sims like that for me? Or have a sim in their studio who qualifies?
Since I don't have WA or Hels, I can't help with that. I have an older sim. My first upload that has no anything but, she was so boring. That was Selah Lee. Probably more that I don't remember.

I was just wondering if you created a new Sim that had base game (and/or with WA or HELS) with maybe a bit of custom colour work - would I be able to install them?
If no one else comes up with someone I can start my game up tomorrow and upload some older sims that I never uploaded before. I have at least a couple that don't have anything from the store.

A Sim like Oliver - sent to the CAS and some boring hairstyle and clothes would be perfect for the test.

Fan-bloody-tastic. He downloaded, installed and I have him in the family bin ready to drop in a house. I was beginning to fear that I'd never be able to add a new Sim, but it's probably store content that causes some of them to fail.
ReplyDeletePib, have you checked lately to make sure your store account, your launcher and everything is all set to the same country? Who knows, something could have jumped over to another country with all the changes EA is always making.
