Ok, I'm excited

For the first time in month, my store content seems to be back and working. I can load old riverview saves and start a new riverview game. I have the hair styles I downloaded.

The trick turned out to be simply, delete the dc cache and rebuild it. It's looking good.

So tomorrow, I may celebrate by bestowing pressies on my friends with wish lists. Polish it up for me!

  1. Clapping hands for PiB. You have no idea how happy I am for you. Make sure your wishlist is up to date because I will have to give you a present just because I can.

I'm going to be posting a ton of pics in a little while, just so everyone will know whats going on.
No story, just pics with captions.

  3. Yay!! This is awesome. Kinda funny that it was something that simple, but sometimes that's the easiest thing to overlook.

Woo! *throws confetti* Next time I get Simpoints, I'ma have to throw some gifts your way, too. Gotta get you caught up with the rest of the pack! ^^

  4. I saw that you put a few items on your wish list. Any particular sets that look good to you?

  5. Thanks everyone.

I was working my way to looking at sets - hadn't made up my mind on any though the wedding set is very pretty.

  6. Thanks for the pressies, they seem to have installed, now to find someone to 'decorate' with new stuff from the store.

  8. Such a quiet weekend.

Chrysame was fighting her game to revive Gwen.

Dee was fighting her game for Sara and Brody

Kaleeko was off doing good stuff with art!

And PiB was far too amused decorating Sims with store stuff to get as many screenies and stories as usual.

  9. And you have to be having the most fun in a long time playing around with all that stuff. I know I would be.

  10. Now we'll find out if having no store content was part of PiB's secret to publishing blog posts so often. :)

  11. I don't know how you played without store content. I was without it for a couple of hours and I was freaking out.

  12. In Sims 2 - we had no store until very late in the series. I only bought one stuff pack deliberately (got one as part of bundle). I didn't use CC.

So while I was peeved that I couldn't use it, I can cope with base game stuff when I must. I take it as a challenge to make things work without extra fancy stuff.

Still, it's certainly nice to have all that stuff that I bought and you guys bought for me back! Sammy can wear the classic Sammy vest and tie!

  13. Now that I know that stuff is there, it would drive me bonkers not being able to use it. :)

Sammy and his vest. That's just about perfect.

  14. I could deal with it if I had to but sure hope I don't have to.
