Tricky EA. I had to install the latest patch in order to download him. I needed to update my Mods anyway.
He won't have the fluffy shirt as I don't have it and I'm not sure I can live with hot-headed but we'll try it. If I can't there's always modify traits!
Now, for the girls to age up so someone can have a hot blonde boyfriend!
Glad you like him. The downloading problem isn't because of too many clothes. He only has one set per catagory. I recently had a problem downloading some things. I tried the second time and it worked.
Darn, I hate you can't get him.
I don't have him in the game just yet. I think he is going to be single for awhile. He's going to be my Sammy. Poor guy is going to have to work hard to live. wonder how long it will last? He will probably end up in Lucky's old place. Poor guy.
Check your email Chrysame. I think I made males with every color but blonde before and decided it was time to try that. I tried to imagine what it would look like when a male with brown hair spent a lot of time in the sun and it bleached out.
I plan to put him in Lucky's place. I won't be doing a challenge. I'm not getting him a job right away. I think I will try painting if I can bring myself to sell them. He may have to harvest a few veggies and catch a few fish. I'm not really sure what I'll do with him yet.
He made it. He's not featured but he made it to 100+. I never had a sim even get near 100 before. I think Jon Marsh was the closest and he's at 80. It took Jon months to even reach 80.
Thanks Chrysame. I just realised I gave him the same first name as MJ's Josh Lambert. Darn. I'll bet she loves me right now. Sorry MJ. I forgot to decide on a name before I made him. I was thinking Joshua and shortened it to Josh. I couldn't even think of a last name and got that from a $10.00 bill.
Dee, you should really put Mr. Hamilton in the Show off Your Sims thread. If he got 100 downloads on his own in a days time think what he'd do with a feature. The mind boggles.
I put Josh in my game today. It's been fun having him start with almost nothing.
Skunk Haven cost $17,751 to move in. He didn't have that, so I had to sell trees to lower the price. He had $49.00 left once he moved in. That place is such a dump. One room with an outhouse and a tub in the yard.
A starting Sim can't afford Skunk Heaven. That's a bit odd.
Glad you are having fun with him Dee. I know making Sammy slave for his possessions has been entertaining. He's so proud of each tiny improvement he can afford.
He's been having some fun too. He isn't living with anyone but he got someone pregnant in the Judges Chambers. Then he got her pregnant again at her house. He may not live there but he has spent a few nights there. I'll tell who one day this week. "Ducks" before Chrysame throws something at me.
I can tell you still don't have Twallan's Story Progression. It costs a Sim 100 Simoleons a day in child support if they have a baby that doesn't live with them. 500 if the Sim family is rich (Henry had 500 a day until Darius turned young adult).
Sammy didn't woohoo with River until he could start thinking about getting her to move in.
Poor Josh would have been locked away for sure then. He's been in town less than two weeks and surviving on harvesting and selling veggies and painting. He may have made that much in a little over a week. :D His just managed to buy a full size cheap bed and an easel this week. He was painting at the museum.
Yeah, he was going to invite her over to spend the night. I wanted her to be at his place when she went into labor. I even made him clean the place up. I was checking something in Edit Town View and discovered his baby was a toddler very fast. He went to her place instead. I never saw one age that fast. One day a baby was born. He went and spent the night to be near the baby. He spent one night at home and boom, toddler.
:) Gentle? And next you'll suggest we be subtle as well. LOL
I never did any mods or CC in Sims 2. None. I can respect if Dee doesn't want to or indeed is scared of the stuff (I was worried while installing it the first time and only the thought of saving Indiana Sam's neighborhood kept me going.)
Subtle? Heck, let me look that up. I'm not sure of the meaning.
I know I installed the mod because I was getting a bit frustrated with the way EA's SP worked in some areas. Twallan's looked good and as I had a good backup, I tried it. I figured if I didn't like it, I could take it out.
It works for me. But, its not for everyone. Just like CC isn't for everyone. It's all good. :)

I didn't try because the Sims I most recently downloaded, I can't install. Sims previously installed are fine but no new ones work.
