Last night, I took a pill and went downstairs to read until the pill took effect. I remember putting my book down, turning off the lights and going upstairs. That's the last thing I remember before waking up this morning.
Hubby told me he woke up at 2:30 and watched television until he felt sleepy, again. He did this in our bedroom. I was sure I was in bed before 2:30. He said the light was on in the office and he assumed I was in there. Huh? What? I don't remember this at all so I decided to see if I could figure out what the heck I was doing.
I was playing Sims. I have new saves for the Gwen game. I have screenshots (some are really, really bad). Apparently, Gwen slept with at least four sims (made out with? Woohooed?)! She had at least one party. Gavin is a toddler! I...don't remember any of it. What the heck did I do?! *snorts*
I'm greatly amused. I'm adding a couple of the screenies.
*Dies laughing!* Oh my goodness, Chrysame...
ReplyDeleteIt's like you were drunk through your character. That is just... waaay too funny. Still a little worrisome that you're sleep-Simming or something, but... I mean, really. Gwen slept with four sims? Sounds like one reaaaaallly epic party.

ReplyDeleteI almost wonder if you actually did sleep and your husband is just playing with your head, but, I doubt he'd know how to do much in the game, especially taking screenshots of it.
Hahahaa.. So have you decided what to do about the game? Gonna revert to a past save, or try to roll with it?
I need to really check that last save and make sure I didn't do anything crazy in build mode. Or that she's pregnant.

Though poor Gavin didn't get that birthday party with his doodlehead dad.
Hehehe. Well, it was an idea. ;) Both my husband and I are gamers as well (heck, we met over WoW), but every now and then we play a bit of a joke on each other. Usually nothing major, though.
ReplyDeleteStill, I really think it's hilarious... The Report's Headline: Gwen, having dipped into a little too much wine, has recently awoken only to discover her house a mess, her son a stage older, and a mysterious number of love notes from Sims wanting to get together with her "again". ^^
My husband is pretty amused. I still haven't had a chance to check out the last save.

Whoa. I just did a quick look at the saves. I have one at 2:30, one at 5:22 and the last one is at 5:30. I played for nearly three hours?!
ReplyDeleteI know who she likes. She has three wishes all related to one sim. I'll have to think about what to do. Three hours is a lot of game time.
My husband had an Apple ][ when we started dating. That was very impressive, not many people had home computers in those days!
ReplyDeleteI have literally lost some sleep over Sims by worrying if my game crashed or when glitches like Brooke's post pregnancy happen and I don't know what to do. Very addicting game.
I'm glad you find it amusing because I find it downright hilarious. I can't stop laughing. I even had to go tell my husband about this one. And I thought I was addicted. *cracks up again*
ReplyDeleteI've dreamed about them, fell asleep thinking about them, woke up thinking about them, I have even been known to walk and talk in my sleep many times. So far I haven't played the game in my sleep.

It sure could've. :) I think it's really funny that of all things, you decided to play the Sims... And I'm really glad that of all things, that IS what you did.
ReplyDeleteI really hope there's no lasting damage to Gwen's game, though. It'd really stink if you'd done something really major like get her married and pregnant again, with no record of the event.

ReplyDeleteI spent a little time in game trying to figure out what was going on. Thank goodness for Twallan's mods. It's easy to find out who is with who, etc.
