I just want to officially jump on the bandwagon. I don't want to add everybody to mine until they say they want it, because I don't to spam anybody with emails. I've added those who said they wanted in so far, PiB and Chrysame.

The only person I'm really wondering about leaving on this is Muleskinner. He's going to feel like a mute swan in the midst of a gaggle of geese. A very noisy active gaggle at that!

I officially love it. I have gmail put the comments into a special filter and they don't clutter the inbox. And it's really nice to see the comments as they flow by. Thanks everyone for adding me to those feeds.

I like it!!! Don't know how I'll ever get them all read much less answered. But it's a great idea. And who knows when I'll get back to my doing my second favorite hobby? - Storytelling... the first obviously playing ts3. :-/
Don't feel sorry for me because I don't feel sorry for myself. I am grateful to have such fine employment during this troubled economy.
I have in fact been in the 'overdrive' mode with work. My job puts me through cycles of normal (whatever that is) and hyper drive.
When that happens, I have to make hard choices and drop everything else. I'm not in position to say no to my employer of 20+ years. I am salaried.
So when the proverbial sh*t hits the fan, I jump into action and get it done. Eventually things even out and the crazy at work gets not so crazy.
I'm only responding to this one post for now ladies. I have skimmed through some of the gazillion comments you've posted to my email.
I may have to call a plumber! Just kidding... ROLF!!!
My loving wife said I needed a time out this evening. After evening meal she presented me with the copy of 'WA' she had purchased for me today. Sooooooooooooooooo...having got a heads up from you fabulous blogger friends (sifting, skimming and focusing on the important stuff (not how hot your sim guys look - blah-blah-blah) I read about the update.
Went to the sight and downloaded. No problems...
Installed 'WA'. No problems...
Prompted to install update/patch for 'WA'. No problems...
Played 'WA' for 2+ hours and got all the way through 1 adventure/goal with a practice/throw away sim (if something bad should happen). Nothing bad happened. My pre 'WA' game is intact...so I'm hopefully get back to continuing Sierra's story.
Have fun!!! I'll return when I can.

I'm still hoping that another old fart like myself will eventually find our little group and join in the fun we share here.
'odd man' out for the moment due to circumstances beyond my control. I'm to old to get a note from my mother, so this will have to do for now. :o)
Hi Muleskinner Don, did you yell when you opened the email? I'm ducking behind my keyboard. I think we all understand how work loads can keep us away. I too am happy to still have my work.

ReplyDeleteFor the record, I did debate leaving you out of this scheme just because I had a feeling that it could be a bit chatty. :) In fact, no one at all has been added to my Adventures with Sims blog but the next update will be soon and I'll be adding the usual suspects then.
