Happy holidays one and all

Bright and early Christmas Eve day here. Work will be tough as usual this day every year. We start off with a breakfast that continues to 9 or so then places around the University have morning tea. Officially, everyone goes home at noon after putting in such a hard effort in the morning.

So I thought I'd wish everyone a bright and happy festive season. I'll be around and online a lot. :)

  1. Thanks, and the same to all of you. I intend to sit right here in my easy chair all day today just because I can. Tomorrow's Christmas Eve here. I plan to sleep late, get a haircut if there's a place open, buy some last minute stocking candy, and then go to Mom's and do all my gift wrapping and everybody else's.

  2. Same to you and everyone else here.

Tomorrow is our Christmas Eve. Every year they say we will close a couple of hours early, if there are no customers in the store. There are always customers in the store until our regular closing time. I can't complain though. I missed way too much work because of the weather.

I did some last minute shopping for stocking stuffers on the way home tonight. I had planned it last weekend. Didn't happen.

I'll have a 3 day weekend. If the weather doesn't get bad again, I'll have the family here one day. The other two, I'll be taking it easy.

  3. Christmas Eve tomorrow! Hubby will work half a day. Later in the evening we'll open our stockings and give the cats their gifts (wet food and catnip!).

I'm going to wrap up the Marta story and try to figure out what I want to do next, sim-wise. I'm a bit stumped. Suggestions are always welcome!

  4. Hi all! :)

Sorry I have been quiet... I have been rather busy with shopping for kids and christmas preparations and so on.

Dee, glad to see you didn't get snowed in forever!

Merry xmas to you all, may your day be wonderful, filled with family and love.

We are going to my folks for xmas, we doing the cooking there as my mom has 3 ovens LOL.

My kids are just wishing that tonight can come so they can go to bed so that they can open presents in the morning.

BTW, Chrysame especially... if you don't know, (but for all the rest of us who are kids deep inside)...

... you can track santa's movements globally at

    www.noradsanta.org

    He just left Melbourne :)

There are cute little video's to watch along the way and you can see him moving at lightning speed across the globe. It is REALLY adorable and really worth a look... makes me get over-emotional.. LOL but then again I can even cry in commercials.

Hugs to all and PiB, I hope this xmas is not too difficult for you.

  5. I cry at commercials, too. And movies. I can't even rent a kid so I can go to a Disney movie, because I'm going to cry at the emotional part. ;)

  6. Santa! I imagine Zayne staying up late to play her guitar and catching Santa as he delivers gifts to her house. Of course, she can't help herself and has to flirt with the man. Of course, he can't say no and gives her a few extra presents. *laughs*

  7. LOL I had to give up and just go to kids movies without borrowing any spare kids.

Cry at movies, ummm, yeah, that happened to me last time I watched Bambi. I can be so soppy.

Merry Christmas day. I had a large box which had a brand new Apple computer. Now trying to set up all the basics!

  8. I'll say it again. Merry Christmas to all.
I was released from work a little early. One person says, "Dee you may as well go on home, nothings happening here now". That was at 5:00. Then a voice from upstairs says, "wait, another shopping cart order". LOL

    Nice one PiB.

  9. In theory, this new Mac should be able to do all my PC stuff. In practice, I'm installing an RPG game and see if the computer can actually cope.
