Our power supply was switched on sunday night. But if we try to switch power to all the circuits, the safety switch kicks in. The last circuit powers most of the outlets in the house. So we do have lights, ac, hot water and a stove. We don't have a fridge, clothes washer (and I need that so) and I can't run the computer yet.
At least it is more comfortable in the house. Electrician coming today to look at power.
Poor Pib. It must seem as though things will never be back to normal.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep my fingers crossed for sooner than later. :) I would go *nuts* without power... How you're still sane is beyond me. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, PiB. I really hope things will go back to normal soon
ReplyDeleteNot yet. The electrician thinks there is a bit of water somewhere that needs to dry out a bit.
ReplyDeleteSo lights, AC a few things. But Sims are out of the question without the desktop Mac.
The electrician came back. Got almost all our power back, just need the bit to the washing machine fixed up but we can run an extension cord for that.
ReplyDeleteI'm typing from my Mac...all looks fine and we may try booting the game soon. Huzzah
*throws confetti!!!*
ReplyDeleteBout damn time. :) Glad to hear it's all back up, Pibkins.
I just booted Sims and loaded Phillip. Ah, there he is, no problems loading.
ReplyDeleteI feel so relieved to have the computer back and online.
