Should be joining Mr Sam Grant in Bridgeport? I've moved a few in but only a few.
This time, they should be fairly safe. Sam is going for stardom - so I don't anticipate death or overt evilness for the volunteers. Unlike their last outing with Sam, which was fatal for so many.
Hmmm... I'm not sure! I would say YA Amelia, since she never gotten a lot of screen-time outside my blog (usually because she's just a baby or not even born at all), but I may have to re-upload her. IIRC, the one of her on the exchange right now doesn't work properly.

Unless, of course, you'd rather have one of the other Kanes... And by all means, use whichever one you like the most!

I made a new sim for my revamped Sunset Valley. Her name is Mabel. She did marry Ollie but I bulked him up with the new sliders and gave him some LN hair. OMG, it looks just wrong on him. It makes me giggle.
ReplyDeleteOf course, she's had multiple affairs. Josh Hamilton broke her heart when he saw Shannon in the hot tub and decided he'd rather have her. *laugh* She got him back, though. She slept with Jon Marsh and Jack Grant.

Sam went to CAS and I took the muscle definition slider to 1/2 way. Any more scared me. LOL
Ok Cassy and Georgia are moved in. Sam as yet to see them but they are only just there.
Overwatch removes at least 100 cars every time I load a save. What did EA do?
Screwed the pooch, that's what they did. I'm seeing that in my game as well, PiB. I made a point of checking it out after we talked. That's got to be bogging the heck out of games. I can't imagine. *hugs her mods*

ReplyDeletePiB, my game deletes hundreds of cars every day, too. It appears that EA put in a system that spontaneously creates necessary objects, like musical instruments if you ask for people to 'jam' with you, and creates cars when anyone goes from point A to B. It's absolutely ridiculous. I just really feel for Dee, who doesn't have a mod deleting all of them for her.
Yep, what Chrysame said about the spawning cars. I lasted until day two in Bridgeport the second time I tried it. I lasted abour a sim week in Riverview. When I went to BB, I deleted every parking space and every car and almost every sim. I checked the sims I did leave in the town to see if they had any in their inventory. So far I've played about two sim weeks in BB without lag. I'll find out tomorrow if what I did was a solution. Until there is a patch I suppose I'll stick with BB as long as it doesn't start lagging.

ReplyDeleteI think I know what the problem is, so I'll re-try when I wake up tomorrow. It seems to have uploaded her with a ton of extra traits for some reason (probably her lifetime rewards), and that's probably what's causing the issue.

Turns out I had to use Master Controller to remove her special traits (Burglar/Can Apprehend Burglar/Pizza Appreciator/Etc)... Weird. At least I figured out what the issue was. Hopefully.
I won't check it thoroughly till tomorrow night...too late to reboot my game now to see if she goes.

Maybe it's an upload as a Sim with so many hidden traits. Not hidden traits on their own, I have a Celia Pendragon who secretly appreciates pizza from Chrysame. And the Kane family as a household have their hidden traits, I know I found some of the family history by looking at Bradley through MasterController.
After we've been to this much effort, Sammy is gonna have to take Amelia seriously if she works. Which is going to be a bit weird to see, the jump from child to young adult.
Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed that this did the trick. It doesn't have any store or CC/CC patterns either, just has Late Night items.

It is kinda weird seeing her as an adult now... Even moreso for you guys, probably, because you haven't even seen her as a teen yet. That reminds me, though, one of the pictures she has hanging up in her aparmtent kinda looks like Sammy to me... Made me giggle. :D

ReplyDeleteIt's very satisfying to see Thomas in an important role in your latest season. Ok, not so much see as know he's lurking. A lurking Thomas, that one still is a bit stunning - his first go as a criminal. Carolina must have been very persuasive at some point.
And Sam the arch nemesis of villains. LOL
It is pretty odd to see Thomas as a criminal, but it worked out rather interestingly for me! While he's more 'lurking' atm, he definitely gets more attention as time goes on. I wish I could've worked Sam into the somehow, but he very rarely seems to come out of hiding in my 'hood.
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to see our sims in each others' blogs. I hope I find a way to work a couple into Bridgeport, but I never force a character into a story if they don't work themselves in naturally. So we'll see. :)
Given how often Sam or one of his boys (always the boys!) steals the limelight in blogs, it's good to know he doesn't always take over.
