So last night was spent moving someone to my brand new gifted Barnacle Bay. A kind and apparently rich soul noticed I said in the general forum that I was thinking about getting it and gifted it.
In order not to start a new blog, I used Twallan's Porter to move Brooke and John Edward over. I got two surprises when I did.
First surprise, I had left the game at Brooke's house. I needed to go to Johnny because he needs his relic collection and he had JUST put Ripley's paintings on the wall. John Edward and Alaina divorced at some point in the past day - though she still lives there. She does have multiple lovers, Johnny must have noticed.
Surprise two - when I unpacked the families, I was back with Brooke. And who the heck is the red head toddler? Oh, the game decided Leonardo was due to age up. Same hair as all the men in that family. I did end up moving them to a house they couldn't officially afford, they were moved into a one bedroom shack and that's just ridiculous.
First, congrats on the gift. Secondly, no wonder Johnny wasn't in any hurry to have more children with Alaina.
ReplyDeleteThirdly, Porter does just throw families into available homes. I had to sort and move families when I moved them to BB as well.
I'm anxious to hear what you think of the new town.
Yes, I've been wondering for some time if Johnny's lack of baby want had to do with his relationship. It's so weird to see a son of Sam with NO baby wants.
ReplyDeleteOr he is trying to balance with your Jack who wants too many.
I probably won't have a lot of chance to muck with BB before our holiday. I didn't expect to get it until we came back so I'd have time. :)
Hans makes a darned cute pirate.
That certainly explains Johnny's lack of desire for children. Did you move Alaina, too?
ReplyDeleteThe pirate boots are awesome. The only thing I don't like about them is that they show up as footwear in the swim category, too.
Yes, Alaina moved as part of John Edward's household. She just won't be staying there long now that they've moved.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the first family in BB was my rescued from Oblivion Thomas, Zayne and their three sons. I've always wanted to know how those boys would grow.
Wow, looks like you had an experience and a surprise or two when moving your sims.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame you won't have time to really get to know BB.
Tell me again when you are leaving?
Gonna miss your updates.
Dee, I should have plenty of time to explore BB - just a month from now. :) We leave early next week and get back around the 11 Nov.
ReplyDeleteThen you'll have two things to explore. Late Night will be out by then.
ReplyDeleteAnd it will almost be her birthday when she gets home.
ReplyDeleteYep, I should be over jet lag by my birthday. Late Night and more BB to play...hurray
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, housecleaning - yuck. Sammy, could you help?
I forgot about this post when I was reading your latest update. I already knew about Alaina. Duh.
