I need you guys to tell me that it is really ok to delete Sam and Rachel's graves from the Indiana Grant blog. I'm trying to steel myself up to do it
a) Rachel's ghost and presence is busted. At some point, there was a glitch and no one from the family remembers her properly.
b) When Sam comes out, if he was the reason for some of my glitching, then the ghost is probably not an improvement.
But it's hard to delete their tombs. Really hard.
I know it's hard. It was a bugger when I had to delete Marta's and Wyatt's gravestones. Just be careful how you do it. It could mess up the family tree.
ReplyDeleteDon't use the annihilation option in the mod. It will definitely screw up the tree.
I had less glitches when I removed the gravestones from existence.
It made things easier for the sims who remained. Less glitches make for happier sims.
Jeez, that's a hard one. If taking them to the cemetery won't work, then you really don't have a choice.
ReplyDeleteWell, the family is already mangled from the weirdness of Rachel. She was removed from the tree and when I put her back, I discovered no one properly knew her (like no known traits, etc.) So frankly, the tree has already been messed up.

ReplyDeleteI haven't had a problem with Mason and Ripley but that's because Charlotte is holding their urns in her inventory. After my last experience with M and W, I opted not to do anything with Ripley and Mason's graves.
Well, I have three ghost/thombs in Dreams Upon a Pillow blog. I did not put them in the backyard or cemetery. I put those tombs in Valentin's inventory. Just, be careful of any glitches that will delete them in sim's inventory. If I miss them and they are not showing up, I use Chaos Mod Painting from MTS to bring them and they can do their routine as a ghost. I also can bring them to life in any moment :D

ReplyDeleteIt's more when the ghosts are out. I seem to have random odd glitches like Sims stuck in place.
ReplyDeleteI may have to delete the graves *and* move the family to a new home. It might be the home too.
Pity, I don't think we can bring our money trees along and there are 4 of them.
Yes, It was sure a pity. I used to have Awesome mod, and it helped me to transfer those plants, but I haven't noticed the update of the mod. So, I am not using it now. But those plants can be planted again. Hm, wow there are lots of glitches you've got there. Now, I know why you haven't updated Indiana Sam. But, it is better to start new ones. I think Sam and Rachel would not mind if it is for the sake of their children :) I wish you good luck. I wish I could help.
ReplyDeleteIf you do have to move them to another house, you can always have them go harvest the money trees. I have been trying to forget the money tree is on Alicia's property. It's been a struggle, not to let Josh go there and harvest it.

I've deleted the graves, we'll see how it goes. No major stuff ups yet, and the troup is in Egypt. Poor Indy can't find a single scarab beetle, he needs 4. Judy has gotten to the part of a tomb no Grant has set foot in. Wow.
