Which character is the one? That character you keep going back to, keeps you on your toes and is your favorite (don't tell the others!)
Is it the same character that best shows who you are as a gamer and/or writer?
My fave is Marta. I luvs her.
I'm not sure she's the character who best represents me as a gamer or writer. Ollie might fill that role. Whoops, Marta just whacked him with her wrench. She wins, again!

ReplyDeleteThat's a really hard Q for me though, these days--in the end I guess it's going to have to be Jebidiah, since I feel like he's kinda the one that started it all and so much of what happens in my story is because of him, but I will have to honestly say that Margo may change absolutely everything. I don't think I've ever felt this excited about a character, before--and since her personality is modeled a little after myself, I feel like I'm going to grow incredibly attached to her.
That being said, I am honest to god seriously in love with Naomi.
Like I said--seriously hard. That's like asking me to pick my favorite kid, lol! XD

ReplyDeletePerhaps the one Sim that founded the families in two blogs, made a decent appearance in a story in a third blog, and has one blog devoted to him? Hmm, yep, there's Sam there.
Now if I want warm fuzzies, I go find Thomas. My first real CAS - and such a sweety he is. Seeing him tickle a toddler - in my game or someone's screeny is always a warm fuzzy for me. And Kaleeko can thank Thomas for his role in procreating her lovely Naomi. :)
In the end, Sam clones give me the challenge I need to do different things - try the unexpected. Sam's great grand Jerod would probably give him a good run for his money - that evil Sim is fun. Jerod wouldn't exist without Sam though.
I'm eager to get to know Margo, Kaleeko. And have her for my own. Brad, Alesha and Margo are on the exchange, yes? *makes note to check, forgets ala Ollie, asks Kaleeko again* I'm not as absentminded as Ollie but I have my moments.

I'm falling in love with Thomas all over again, PiB. He and Marta are providing me so much entertainment. And their little Rose is special. I can't get enough of her. Dang, she's cute.

Oooohh, that hair looks gorgie on Marta!! She really is honestly one of the most beautiful and unique sims I've ever seen--I only lament that I wasn't able to find a way to squeeze more in to write about her in my hood. She and Sam are expecting soon, though, so you two will be privy to pictures as soon as I can manage them. ;)

ReplyDeleteThen I remembered who the heck Marta is cuddling in her naughties. :) I hope she was telling her hubby that he was way overdressed.
I do luvs Marta which is why she's been in nearly every hood somewhere (or once was). Getting her a new hairstyle for the last scene in Sam's story was interesting - not that one...too like Camille. Not that one...too Georgia. LOL Marta's girls and Sammy's boys can be *such* clones of their parents.
I don't have any more permanent hoods to add a Brad and Alesha family to - I'd have to kill some Kanes to do it. So I'll just have to watch them in yours Kaleeko.
BTW finally home and had a good look at pissed off momma Marta. Tisk, she's putting on weight. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that I've been doing this long enough to have any character I could consider "The One." I'm still finding my voice with pretty much all of them, and I can't really say any of them are spectacular (yet). That being said, I adore Marta, Sam, Margo, Naomi, and everyone else mentioned above! They're the reasons I read so many Sims blogs and started my own.
